ii’s state-of-the-art innovation space is custom designed to meet start-ups’ and innovators’ collaboration and work needs. It complements ii’s digital technology innovation and member growth services.

In addition to various-sized offices and single desks, the space comprises shared workspaces, meeting rooms and collaboration areas, as well as privacy booths, podcast recording capabilities, kitchen and garden.

Collaborative Space Details

ii is based in a 708m2 two-storey renovated and extended building with car parking, garden and courtyard, in the centre of Buncrana within a few minutes’ walk of the main street, coffee shops, restaurants, businesses, the beach, parks and other local attractions.

ii offers customisable office and coworking space options for landing spot groups, along with 2- and 3-person offices for startups, hot desk and hybrid remote workspace, and privacy booths for phone and video-conference calls.

Hot Desk & Hybrid Users
A limited amount of space is allocated to hot desk and hybrid working. Available to book online, hot desks are booked on a daily basis only; hybrid bookings are made on a monthly basis to use a desk for up to two days per week.
Rental Period
Licensed hub members sign licence agreements for 1 to 2 years with payment made monthly.
Gigabit fibre broadband is provided, with an option for members to purchase additional connections from multiple suppliers through ii’s three separate fibre connections.
Opening Times
9:00am – 5:30pm with extended access available for licensed hub members.
Wifi & Cable Internet Access
High speed firewall protected internet access provided free via both cable and WiFi access.
High quality audiovisual and video-conferencing capabilities in meeting rooms, event and collaboration spaces.
Meeting & Event Facilities
Two 4-6-person meeting rooms, one 12-person meeting/training room and one 20-person tiered-seating collaboration space; all with high quality event and video conferencing capabilities.
Building Security & Access
Building access managed using a cloud-based access control system integrated with the ii’s online booking system. Security provided by an industry leading monitored alarm and CCTV system.
Sustainability features include air to water heating, solar panels, rainwater capture, motion sensor-controlled lighting and electric vehicle charging facilities.
Heating & Electricity
Heating costs included in rent; electricity charged on a quarterly basis.
Car Parking
Public parking available. Parking in electronic barrier-controlled car park available at an additional charge for licensed hub members; includes 4 spaces for electric car charging.
