inishowen innovation (ii) and Gorrion invite local entrepreneurs and innovators to a one-of-a-kind workshop and Q&A session about the challenges of software development. The free event, titled “Gateway to Product Development Success,” takes place on Thursday, 21 November 2024, at the inishowen innovation hub in Buncrana.
Digital product development is a cut-throat environment, with more than two-thirds of startups never delivering a positive return on investment and ultimately failing. This unique collaborative event is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand accounts and honest advice from business owners who lived to tell the tale against these odds.
The workshop will feature real-life questions asked by local entrepreneurs who are struggling with developing their digital product or who would like to enter the tech startup space.
Answering them will be community members who experienced similar challenges and came out on top with successful products, including Ryan Bradley, co-founder of FireCloud365 and Patrick Lynch, founder of BioLedger. Experts from Gorrion, a software development company that helped these and many more businesses create their very own custom software, will also be there to advise. The event will be hosted by the ii, an innovation hub that fosters an amazing community of forward-thinking entrepreneurs focused on disruptive digital technologies and business models.
